Dr. Cormac MacDermott

Dr. Cormac MacDermott is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (Board Certified) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He graduated from the Columbia College of Dental Medicine and did his residency in Pediatric Dentistry at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Dr. Cormac is comfortable and confident with children of all ages, personality types and medical conditions. He has an easy-going, gentle nature and sense of humor that, combined with a high level of skill and expertise, make dental visits not only educational but also enjoyable.

He is committed to children’s health both locally and globally. For the last several years he has provided free dental care to under-privileged children and their families through “Give Kids a Smile”, and has traveled extensively as a volunteer and advocate for children’s health.

Dr. Cormac lives in Brooklyn Heights with his wife, Erin, a veterinarian, and their two children. He is a long-suffering fan of the New York Jets.

Dr. Lisa Van Eyndhoven DDS

Dr. Lisa Van Eyndhoven received her DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. She completed her pediatric dental residency at Columbia University/New York Presbyterian Hospital. She is a Diplomat if the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (Board Certified). She is currently teaching pediatric dentistry in the residency program at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx.

"Dr. Lisa" was born and primarily raised in New York City, but traveled the world at a young age with her diplomatic parents who are Belgian. She speaks four languages and has spent time in Sudan, Trinidad and Tobago, Ethiopia, Gabon, and Thailand including her annual visits to her family in Belgium. She has also performed dental outreaches in Guatemala and Dominican Republic.

Along with traveling, "Dr. Lisa" loves silly jokes and songs. She is patient and takes the time to make children and parents feel at ease in the dental environment. She lives in Chelsea with her kitten Coconut.

Dr. Megan Cloidt 

Dr. Cloidt was born and raised in New Jersey and has lived in New York City for the last 13 years. She graduated from Barnard College (BA) and Columbia University College of Dental Medicine (DDS) has been practicing general dentistry for 3 years. She also has a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Public Health. In her free time, Dr. Cloidt enjoys baking, creative projects, and taking walks with her husband George and rescue pup Huckleberry in one of the many amazing parks NYC has to offer. Dr. Cloidt is passionate about preventing oral disease and helping her patients overcome dental anxiety. Dr. Valerie Chin

Dr. Valerie Chin received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. She continued her specialty training at Columbia University completing her residency program in Orthodontics and earning a Masters of Science.

Dr. Chin’s own childhood experience with braces inspired her to become an orthodontist and she is excited to share her enthusiasm and knowledge with her patients. Her extensive training and experience in orthodontics include early interceptive treatment on children, complex multidisciplinary treatment on adults, and clear aligner therapy such as Invisalign on children, teens, and adults. She is committed to staying abreast of the latest techniques in orthodontics to provide her patients with the most advanced care and is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists.

When Dr. Chin is not in the office, she enjoys staying active indoors and outdoors including spin classes, skiing, and scuba diving. She is a New York City native and currently resides in Brooklyn Heights with her husband.

Dr. Lisa Lian

Dr. Lisa Lian graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Columbia University - New York-Presbyterian Hospital. She enjoys teaching future dentists as an Assistant Professor and Director for Pediatric Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry. She is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (Board Certified)

Dr. Lian strives to create an atmosphere that is both fun and nurturing for her patients. She believes in educating children and parents about oral health to establish a lifetime of confident, happy smiles. In her free time, she enjoys swing dance, playing intramural sports with friends, and exploring her neighborhood of Long Island City, NY.
