Dr. Cormac MacDermott is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (Board Certified) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He graduated from the Columbia College of Dental Medicine and did his residency in Pediatric Dentistry at New York Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Cormac is comfortable and confident with children of all ages, personality types and medical conditions. He has an easy-going, gentle nature and sense of humor that, combined with a high level of skill and expertise, make dental visits not only educational but also enjoyable.
He is committed to children’s health both locally and globally. For the last several years he has provided free dental care to under-privileged children and their families through “Give Kids a Smile”, and has traveled extensively as a volunteer and advocate for children’s health.
Dr. Cormac lives in Brooklyn Heights with his wife, Erin, a veterinarian, and their two children. He is a long-suffering fan of the New York Jets.
Dr. Lisa Van Eyndhoven received her DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. She completed her pediatric dental residency at Columbia University/New York Presbyterian Hospital. She is a Diplomat if the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (Board Certified). She is currently teaching pediatric dentistry in the residency program at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx.
"Dr. Lisa" was born and primarily raised in New York City, but traveled the world at a young age with her diplomatic parents who are Belgian. She speaks four languages and has spent time in Sudan, Trinidad and Tobago, Ethiopia, Gabon, and Thailand including her annual visits to her family in Belgium. She has also performed dental outreaches in Guatemala and Dominican Republic.
Along with traveling, "Dr. Lisa" loves silly jokes and songs. She is patient and takes the time to make children and parents feel at ease in the dental environment. She lives in Chelsea with her kitten Coconut.
Dr. Cloidt was born and raised in New Jersey and has lived in New York City for the last 13 years. She graduated from Barnard College (BA) and Columbia University College of Dental Medicine (DDS) has been practicing general dentistry for 3 years. She also has a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Public Health. In her free time, Dr. Cloidt enjoys baking, creative projects, and taking walks with her husband George and rescue pup Huckleberry in one of the many amazing parks NYC has to offer. Dr. Cloidt is passionate about preventing oral disease and helping her patients overcome dental anxiety. Dr. Valerie Chin received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. She continued her specialty training at Columbia University completing her residency program in Orthodontics and earning a Masters of Science.
Dr. Chin’s own childhood experience with braces inspired her to become an orthodontist and she is excited to share her enthusiasm and knowledge with her patients. Her extensive training and experience in orthodontics include early interceptive treatment on children, complex multidisciplinary treatment on adults, and clear aligner therapy such as Invisalign on children, teens, and adults. She is committed to staying abreast of the latest techniques in orthodontics to provide her patients with the most advanced care and is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists.
When Dr. Chin is not in the office, she enjoys staying active indoors and outdoors including spin classes, skiing, and scuba diving. She is a New York City native and currently resides in Brooklyn Heights with her husband.
Dr. Lisa Lian graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Columbia University - New York-Presbyterian Hospital. She enjoys teaching future dentists as an Assistant Professor and Director for Pediatric Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry. She is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (Board Certified)
Dr. Lian strives to create an atmosphere that is both fun and nurturing for her patients. She believes in educating children and parents about oral health to establish a lifetime of confident, happy smiles. In her free time, she enjoys swing dance, playing intramural sports with friends, and exploring her neighborhood of Long Island City, NY.
Board Certified Anesthesiologist
Dr. Jason L. Joseph is a residency-trained experienced, board-certified, qualified dental anesthesiologist. He attended Boston University’s Henry Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with honors and received an award from his professors for “Excellence in Patient Management.” After graduating from Boston University he was accepted into a General Practice Residency Medical Track and Dental Anesthesiology Residency at Stony Brook University Medical Center, the only residency of its kind in the nation. During Dr. Joseph’s Anesthesia training at Stony Brook (the only level-one trauma center in Suffolk County), he took trauma calls, provided anesthesia for transplants, urological, oral surgery, dental, ear-nose-throat, vascular, plastic surgery, orthopedic, neurosurgery, pediatric and adult general surgery. Dr. Joseph’s passion was to provide anesthesia care for Dental patients because everyone is entitled to good oral health regardless of their history. Dr. Joseph is a member of the American Dental Association, American Society of Dental Anesthesiologists, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and American Dental Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Joseph understands this can be overwhelming, but with a personal discussion, he can figure out a plan that works for you or your child.
Dr. Grace Chung is a board certified orthodontist who moved to Brooklyn to immerse
herself in the art community. She earned her doctoral degree from the University of the Pacific,
Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA, and graduated amongst the top of
her class. Thereafter, she returned to the east coast to master orthodontics at State
University of New York, School of Dental Medicine in Buffalo, NY.
Dr. Chung’s goal in orthodontics is to customize treatment for each individual with
state of the art mechanics and high aesthetic standards to provide healthy, beautiful smiles.
She loves to provide orthodontic care to patients of all ages, including children, teens, and
adults. She has previously worked with a group of orthodontists as one of the nation’s top tier
providers of clear aligner therapy, including Invisalign. Dr. Chung is also a member of the
American Association of Orthodontics and North Eastern Association of Orthodontics,
continuing education for innovative and empirical treatment.
On her leisure, she loves to paint and draw, inspired by exploring the hidden gems
of nature and landscape. She has painted many portraits in the past, which has made her
proficient in facial analysis which is crucial to the fundamentals of orthodontics in designing
your smile. You can also often spot her at a ceramic studio, wheel-throwing large ceramic
vessels or hand-building textured pieces that emulate organic surfaces. Aside from art, you
can find her at baseball games or volunteering at local events to contribute back to the
